Does MIPS store customer contact details?
No. Phone numbers and email addresses are never stored on the device or in the system.
Is MIPS secure?
Yes. PCI DSS certified with end-to-end encryption, tokenization, and 99.9% uptime SLA.

What cards are accepted?
All local and international Visa and Mastercard cards. American Express and UnionPay are not supported.
Three devices: PayStation Max (mobile), PayStation X (countertop), and PayStation Max Ultra (touchscreen, paperless).
How does the terminal connect?
Via Wi-Fi, hotspot, or data SIM card. MIPS can supply the SIM.
Can multiple users share one device?
Yes. Contact the MIPS team to create individual user accounts.
Can customers pay by tapping their phone?
Yes. Contactless NFC payments are fully enabled on all terminals.
Do customers get a receipt after a QR payment?
Yes. It is sent automatically within their payment app upon confirmation.
Can I resend a receipt?
Yes. Find the transaction in MyMIPS, select Receipt, and enter the customer's phone or email.
